About this school
The Ultralight Place has been instructing since 1996 in Ultralights which include the more affordable fixed wing Light Sport aircraft that has a Vh less than 87 knots. We also train in Light Sport Powered Parachutes. We take you through everything you need from beginning to end. You are prepared for the written test which can be taken here at the Greater Kankakee Airport. We have hangar space available for the student that purchases their own aircraft. We are also an FAA Light Sport Repair Station which can complete your annual inspections and preform all you aircraft service and maintenance.
At this time because of high insurance rates, we do not offer rentals.
