Bay Area Flying Lessons – Come Learn to Fly!

Stanford Flying Club offers access to pilot training resources: top-notch Bay Area flight instructors, modern flight training aircraft, and, up-to-date interactive flight training materials, to help you obtain a pilot's license.

Our members range from first time flyers pursuing their pilot's license, to experienced pilots enhancing their training.

Many students obtain their first Pilot's License with only 20 to 30 hours of flying time. Getting started on your flying adventure is easy. The first step is to call or e-mail to set up an introductory flying lesson. There is no obligation or requirement to join the Stanford Flying Club to schedule your first lesson.

Stanford Flying Club was founded in 1930 at Stanford U. and is a San Francisco Bay Area non-profit corporation. We fly out of the Palo Alto Airport and Membership is open to the public.
