About this school

Captain Belford has reintroduced seaplane activity to the great state of Ohio. Combined efforts of Belford Flying Service, The Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the Ohio Department of Transportation (aviation div.) has made it possible once again to land on some state park lakes. Our comprehensive Program is designed to offer:

Private Pilot Airplane Single Engine Sea - as an add-on rating

Commercial Pilot Airplane Single Engine Sea - as an add-on rating

We use the Lake LA-4 hull type aircraft for our program

We also train on floats and amphibian aircraft from the Sport Pilot up

Belford Flying Service is an underwritter approved initial and recurant seaplane training provider

Training programs
