Whether you are an experienced pilot looking for aircraft rental or you are looking to begin your flight training, we hope you will find our flight school offers everything you will need to learn to fly. Premier Air is dedicated to customer service and to making the experience of flight training pleasurable and affordable. Our CFIs (certified flight instructors) are seasoned and we keep our aircraft in top condition. We offer many options and will work individually with you to develop the right plan to fit your needs. Our IFR equipped Cessna 172, Cessna 152, Piper 140 and Diamond DA-40 (Garmin G1000) are available for rental or flight training to offer flexible and economic options to our customers. We also have an Elite8 Flight Simulator with both single and multi-engine capabilities so our students can continue to develop when poor weather or their busy schedules make flight training difficult. Premier Air has two locations one is located at the Lincoln County Regional Airport (IPJ) in Iron Station, NC. IPJ offers a well-maintained 5500 X 100 ft. runway and several instrument approaches for those students wishing to continue their aviation education. Our other location is at Lake Norman Airport (14A) in Mooresville, NC. 14A offers a well-maintained 3147 X 40 ft. runway. Both airports have no control tower, allowing students to maximize their flying time, however it is within a convenient flying distance to several towered airports. Both airports FBOs offers a comfortable pilot's lounge with television, weather computer, pilot supplies, and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
